Equipment

  • Griddle

Ingredients

Sliders

  • 1 package (24 count) dinner rolls Original Hawiann Kings Rolls, preferred
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs Panko
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ packet ranch seasoning remaining used in sauce

Slider Sauce

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ packet ranch seasoning

Optional Toppings

  • ½ small white onion sliced
  • 1-2 small roma tomatoes sliced
  • 1 small jalapeno sliced
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cheese slices

Instructions

  • Mix mayo, sour cream, and half the ranch seasoning in a small bowl. Chill.
  • In a large bowl, combine beef, Panko, and Worcestershire. Form into small balls (about golf-ball size).
  • Preheat griddle or cast iron over medium-high heat.
  • Melt butter with remaining ranch seasoning to create ranch butter.
  • Pour half the ranch butter on the griddle. Add beef balls, press firmly to flatten, and cook 1–2 minutes per side. Top with cheese (if using), cover, and melt.
  • Toast buns in remaining ranch butter for ~30 seconds per side.
  • Assemble sliders with sauce, patties, and toppings. Serve with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Cheese Options: Classic American or sharp cheddar both melt beautifully.
  • Make Ahead: Patties can be shaped up to a day in advance and stored covered in the fridge.
  • Oven Alternative:
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
    • Flatten patties slightly and bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
    • Toast buns separately on a skillet or under the broiler, then assemble as directed.
  • Serving Size: This makes 24 small sliders — perfect for parties or hearty appetites.
