I truly believe the food you are putting on your table can turn around your lifestyle for the better (hence turned around table). What started as a love for cooking, has quickly turned into a passion project to share with you all when I am not working my day job as an auditor. Just like any good auditor, I strive to continually learn and improve processes even if it’s just the quality of food or method I am feeding my family and friends. I am not a nutritionist or dietician (although I did take a few nutriton classes while getting my undergrad in accounting at CSU – Go Rams!) but I love food, especially food that makes you feel good and fits your dietary needs. I strive to make crave-worthy, macro-friendly, and micronutrient-dense foods.

The recipes you will find here will vary from balanced meals with healthy substitutes, more indulgent recipes when the substitutes won’t do, family friendly food, and everything full of flavor (and watch out because I am a spicy food loving girl!). But whatever the recipe, it’s me sharing recipes turned around from my table to yours!

If I am not working or cooking, you will likely find me raising my adorable son Brixton with my husband Alex (who also happens to be an amazing cook) or running a (half, full, or ultra) marathon. While this is primarily a food blog, I will be sharing mom life lessons and fitness goals along the way but keep in mind that some of those things correlate to a food blog (like my gestational diabetes meal plan and eating for an ultra-marathon guide).
